Been looking at getting a full sus for a while but not had the money for one as I’m still in school. So I looked on fb marketplace and found this going for only £250 and thought it was a pretty good deal. Is it a good bike for a first fs? also not sure on the model as the lifting only says ‘2016 Norco Norco’ so would be nice if someone could help out on that.

If everything works its not bad, but i would look at a hardtail with better specs for the same price
Need a new saddle. WTB Volt is good and cheap
For 250 it’s not bad at all. But judging by the pictures it doesn’t look particularly cared for. I’d budget another 150-200 to have it serviced.
Also would want to make sure it’s the right size
Looks like it could be a [2013 Norco Shinobi.](https://99spokes.com/bikes/norco/2013/shinobi-2) that may have had a fork upgrade at some point. Not a bad deal and was a very nice bike 10 years ago. I would take it to a shop for a tuneup and expect that you may need to sink a bit more money into it given its age.
