For many years I have enjoyed messing about with cameras and such. This video depicts that, and many other things that I enjoy. A casual adventure, from south London to a campsite near Epping forest. It was my first time camping solo! I thoroughly enjoyed the dose of peace and quiet, as London feels like a very busy place to live.
The video features my bike ride to the campsite, cooking dinner, some skateboarding, graffiti and street art, some of my bikepacking/camping gear, random scenes of natural and urban environments, and making lots of coffee!
For those who might not be aware, I am still enjoying designing and making clothes. I am currently working towards starting a very small clothing company, hand making each garment in London myself. This adventure also acted as a casual field test of an overshirt and pair of trousers I have been developing. I was glad that the 6 pockets in the overshirt worked well. Especially when setting up camp!
This video is a fun and silly exercise in storytelling and editing. In a way it was used as practice for when I start to tell the stories of the clothing’s design, form, function and origin. But it was mostly just made for memories sake!

A longer-form video of this kind of thing would be sweet for sure! I don't think people would get bored, theres so much detail and experience to take in, i think it deserves even more time to sink in! That being said its nice to take it all in quickly too in a way, a short trip in a short form..
