Why I’ll Never Have Kids: Escaping Europe’s Dystopian Future

Correction 01:00 it's China that lifted the 1 child policy as the birth rate had plummeted.
whats wrong with vaccines?
I have to disagree with you, if you choose not to have kids your missing out on life, if your mother thought the same way you wouldn’t be here today, I would want to have a full conversation with you about this because I can tell your a good person and would not want you to miss out on the beautiful gift of children:) also does your mother agree with you ?
Would you rather not have been born?
You went through a very difficult childhood but you still are able to appreciate it, just because life is difficult doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be lived, we’re not it charge of what’s gonna happen in the future and trying to control the outcome never works
Having kids is what you supposed to do, look at nature it’s the way of life, it’s not about selfish or not selfish
Life getting hard everywhere. even in Australia we have our problems. But There is a Patten though every third generation. Seem to end up in criss. See it all thought history. Hard men bring good times weak men bring hard time. I never had kids neither pretty much the same reasons.
Riigi osas ja tglt isegi suurema maailma osas sul tõesti õigus..ise ka vihane kõige jura ja hindade peale..
If you think getting rid of bike lanes will help traffic, I invite you to come and drive in Bucharest. You wait 45 minutes in a car to get to work? People here can wait in a car up to 2 hours. So no, the solution is not more space for cars, it's actually better public transport. We have no significant bike lane system here, people drive on bus lanes (and on the existing bike lanes) and still wait hours in traffic every day. Also, the part where you say "mandatory European bike lanes" is blatantly false. European Union cannot "mandate" any government to do anything. Again, see Bucharest. No "mandatory European bike lanes" here. I am not sure if this is what you meant by that phrase but if you did, again, you are misinformed.
Another point I would like to touch on is the fact that I personally like that the EU regulates food products here. Excess added sugar is proven to literally kill you faster, and give you all kinds of health conditions. See american foods and american obesity rates. As for McDonald's and KFC being allowed, Fanta and Coke are allowed too; they just have to follow some guidelines for sugar, just like McDonald's and KFC. There is plenty of sugar in Coke and Fanta in Europe, and even that is an unhealthy amount, so yeah, I don't agree with this point.
As a general thing to keep in mind, most things that are shit in a EU country are shit because of the government ruling it, not because the EU "mandates". Eu just gives some guidelines, and if one country does not follow them, they might get less funds and so on. But in general EU guidelines are good, and if any of them are shit (because of course nothing can ever be perfect), then your government can chose simply to not implement them. Fake news about the EU bothers me a lot, because it's mostly Russian propaganda, and it seems to be working. A lot of people here in Romania think like this, and yet we have absorbed 3 times as much EU funds as we have contributed.
All in all, you have quite a life story. Your view of the world reminds me of my parents' view. Although they are probably a bit older, I think people around that age mark share a deep trauma with their respective governments (especially eastern european ones, baltic states appear to be pretty similar though). And I think this trauma makes you see the world and the EU in this way. But I, as a younger person that has not been marked by this trauma, can confidently say that things are way better now. I do not come from a privileged family, my parents were poor, as were most of Romanians before entering the EU. But after entering the EU, my family and many others prosper, even though they can't see it, which is really sad. But although things are not quite perfect now, the fact that I did not have to go through the trauma my parents have gone, proves that things are better.
Heard nothing controversial. Smart guy, your right most people do wear there pink goggles and live life in delusion
I agree with you totally Silly. Thank you for sharing you story. I undertsand and get it. I refused to have children aswell.
I only have 1 kroon left from the old times (since my brother stole all other to go drinking with friends). Good times 😀
Estonia have so low birth rate than they won’t be able to support pension system, army and infrastructure. Same in Lithuania. This is why all European countries should put such a great tax on childless couples that having children would be more affordable.
Kun äänestää Sosialisteja niin saa lisää veroja…
Anyone having children right now are simply letting their instincts override their rationality. I don't mean that they're stupid, just that the instinct is incredibly overwhelming in some people. But having kids now is simply not feasible for most people. Their children would suffer, as would they themselves. It's rational to not have kids. That's how fucked up the world has become
Grow up
If you plan to live to old age and you know the system will collapse. Then you are lying to yourself when thinking that you will hire helpers when you are old. Anyway this is selfish thinking. Mõtle oma esiisadele natuke. Sinu vanematest läheb su veri palju PALJU kaugemale mineviku. Sa oled osa oma esivanematest. Su lapsed on osa sinust. Ära hülga kõike mille nimel su ema ja esivanemad lapsi kasvatasid. Sa oled saanud nautida ja kogeda seda maailma. Anna see oma koopiatele edasi. See maailm ei ole ainult jobudele.
It's funny to watch how people try to rationalize emotional desires. If a person wants children, they find ways to have them, and if they don't want to (afraid of the responsibility or the difficulties of emotionally binding them) they start finding excuses for it.
In Finland the consistently increasing approval of far-left politics, including in the national media (YLE) and universally approved blatant racism towards white native men will definitely have the impact of more men choosing MGTOW in the future. Unfortunately this is exactly what far-left is pursuing. Increasing of immigration from islamic countries and erasing our cultural heritage and traditional values. You are automatically labeled as a nazi if you dare to disagree.
Wow. This video is polarizing and I feel the heat while reading the comments. I needed to get all the negativity out of me in order to make this year optimistic. While this video is framed as "doom and gloom" the reality is that my view is not set in stone. Everything might change. All in due time. This is Part one…The bad 😊
Nature is a harsh mistress. She will sort out weakness. You are that weakness.
Take care Brother… Lithuania<- Here xD so yeah… I guess , I don't need to tell you more ^^ then again when we meet all (LT LV EE) Estonians are dubbed as the "slower cousin" xD So it can be… That you won the lottery!
Thank you for sharing this life story!
