Take a measurement rule, first take the distance from the center of the seattube (for example the point that its drilled for the bottle cage in other bikes) and measure the distance from that center to the center of the chainring. Then take the measurement from the center of the hub to the center of the cog. The measurements has to be the same, usually on fixed gear the chainline its 42mm
