    You’re good. 1/2 inch is adequate. Only problem is if the fails or a bolt comes loose you will destroy the spokes and collapse the wheel.

  2. As others have said, you should be good. But also, you could get bolts with a slightly smaller head profile. Just for peace of mind

    Rotor bolts are the easiest bolts I always have spares of that have a low profile and fit. I’d definitely put some loctite on it.

    Here’s a generic picture I got from Planet bike or another website but the 2nd from left is ideal w/ blue loctite. Any hardware store will have them or if you go into a bike shop and ask nicely I’m sure one of the mechanics can grab a pair out of their spares, etc. I’d take a picture of the ones I have but the cat won’t get off my lap
