Haroon has a multitude of bikes and vast experience riding them but even someone like this can benefit from a bike fit with James.

There's a farmer somewhere who's lost a gate, that's a looooong top tube. The saddle drop is surprising, I couldn't ride with 30mm excess height and be remotely comfortable. Love the technology, the way it shows the imbalance between sides is very good.
Can we get you and Neill Stanbury in the same bike fit session and see a YouTube video of you guys comparing notes on the same bike fit?! 🙌🏻
Always insightful = Thanks again James !
yay james is back
Comment 🤪
That bike is 2 sizes too big for him.
I love all of your content and bikefit beliefs but I just had a bikefit from George fox for Road bike TT on my race bike and it definitely 100% performance, I'd love to see your take on race/TT bikefiting.
I'm not sure if i missed it but how tall is the rider?
Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Very timely for me. I've recently realised I have the same issue with right foot over-pronating. G8s on their way. Looking forward to trying them.
It's logical that, in a well-fitted shoe, an over-pronating foot creates most perceived pressure on the outside of the foot. The foot is effectively getting slightly wider creating force against both sides of the shoe. The sideways force on the inside of the foot is spread across a wide area. The same force on the outside of the foot acts on a much smaller area which means more pressure.
It would be cool to include shots from the sides and front/back of the person before the fit. Nice guessing game for regular viewers.
How about a session with how to setup G8 for people at home?
Damn James, how I wish to get a bike fit with you. Sadly I'm in Portugal 😊 I'm getting a lot of knowledge from your videos and I try to apply it, but there are so many questions from a guy that just bought his 1st road bike (Triban RC520 Women), pedals (SPD-SL RS500) and shoes (Lake CX238). My sister is a podiatrist I gess i'll put her to work on the arch suport thing on the shoes 😃 cheers mate. Thanks a lot for your videos!
Did you put an additional heel wedge on top of another on his right insole?
You talk só fast, it's hard to understand for someone whose native language is not English. The room reflects sounds a lot, making speech even more difficult to understand. You move away from the microphone a lot, why not attach a wireless one?
I really like these videos!
May I suggest a specific topic for an upcoming video? I've experiencing a numb right foot after around an hour of riding. I've tried several different shoes (including wide ones like Lake) and different insoles, specifically for biking with increased arch support. Nothing is helping. I think my general bike fit is OK (I dont have any other issues), and I'm struggling to understand why only my right foot is affected. The left foot does not make any problems, even after 5+ hours of riding. Could the problem be related to asymmetrical hips, different leg lengths, insufficient arch support, a wrong saddle (shape, width) or anything else?
That was just amazing how bad his fit was before and you completely transformed it
smaller frame, lower saddle, shorter cranks ……every time
Getting excited but also a little nervous as seeing you next Friday….. 👍👍👍
James desperately needs a sleeve mic on him all the time, too much echo and it’s hard to understand what he is saying sometimes
looks like a primary teacher
Hi James. Happy New Year! Big fan here.
Would really like to see a client come in and get measured, u recommend, buy, get the fit, ride for two weeks then get back and see how it goes.
We will see existing bikers but would like to see someone with zero experience.
Would also like to see the nice ladies get fitted. At least we see you dress up once in a while. LOL
@bikefit james
Do you think people may sometimes run the seat too high because the saddle is too far back?
I've learned so much from these videos (and the earlier Cade Media ones as well). Thanks for sharing your expertise.
Another seat is too high, which seems to be the first place to start. My question is, have you ever seen anyone that actually set a bike up properly at home and just confirmed what they have done? I ask this question because I seem to see that everyone could benefit from what you do and your skills.
I want a bike fitter James T-Shirt!
I'd say he's a 56cm frame
Another suggestion: have your editor do a split screen showing the rider position before and after.
Gods I wish I could find a "Bikefit James" in Flanders ^^. I mean, we DO have bikefitters, but good luck finding a good one.
Bit like finding a good doctor or therapist: Sure you can spend quite a lot of money, but there's no 'standard' way of doing things and you'll spend quite a lot on 2-3 different therapists before you find one that A. actually listens , B. knows what they're doing, have the tools to do and C. are willing to update their knowledge with date from new developments in the fields.
Don't feel like taking the Eurostar to London for a bikefit.
Yet…
Curious to know if shoe wedges are included in the fitting price?
"Just don't tell my wife" 😀 The correct number of bikes is [current_bikes]+1.
I'm currently living in the USA but I really want to time a trip back to the UK with a bike fit from James..!
Really interesting this one. I have same bike, 62cm! I’m 6’5 with mutant limb length😁 any chance you can share height and inseam?
As another Tripster v3 owner, could have told him he's definitely not on an oversize frame before James did. On a 56cm (just over 5ft 10), and very comfortable for long distance. A 54 would sort-of-work, but I'd end up with a lot of toe overlap, a very long stem…as for a 52….no chance!
I wish you were here, I have a similar issue as I ride with riding outward
Sadly BIKE FIT JAMES isn't in Malaysia. 😢
So much knowledge shared. Thanks
