  2. Pretty well equipped for an avalanche. Almost all the parts individually are more valuable than the frame at this point. Be sure to try out the ceramic kool stop pads with those wheels.

    That bike is from exactly the era I stopped paying attention to the “future” of mountain biking. I’m riding down memory singletrack right now.

  4. I bought a similar GT for $100 also for XTR brakes. I’m moving the brakes to my GT Talera as the XT one I have a worn at this point. Yours seems to have nicer parts overall compared to the one I lucked out on.

    All I see locally are 90’s clapped out bikes for $200 or someone dreaming they’ll get $1000 for your score.
