I can’t see enough identifying marks to discern if this is Walmart/Amazon-quality (and thus “worth” $100 brand new) or more like State quality (and thus worth like $400 brand new). I suspect the former. If so it’s not worth much more than the cost of a freewheel and a chain.
What is the logo on the rim? Any other identifying marks?
EDIT: I just saw the dry rot cracks in the tire sidewall, nevermind. I would not take this for $50 unless that wheelset defies my expectations and is a decent one.

depends entirely on the price. For free? sure. For $500? no.
It’s very neglected, lots of rust. Tires, brake pads, chain and brake cables need replacing, bearings are all either worn or totally dead. Rear sprocket probably can’t be revived so unless you want to only ride is as a fixie then that needs replacing too.

Worth it to buy for 50 i’d say. Cleaning up the rust can be done. Rest of the bike seems decent from pics. Wheelset, brakes & steering wheel separate are worth 50$ to sell I think. So should be good on 50 on the whole bike.
