I’m a new Brompton owner, having initially looked at the Brompton C line before deciding to purchase the G line (size medium) and took delivery this week.
I’ve read lots about the famous Dimpa bag but hadn’t seen any attempts at carrying a G Line in a Dimpa bag so I cycled to my local IKEA.
I’ve attached photos of the attempt.
TLDR; G Line can just about fit so that you can carry it with the Dimpa Bag handles (zipper open) but it’s not something that I’d recommend or would feel comfortable with. The extra depth in fold due to the handlebars sadly it means it’s a not viable option.
I’m thinking of trying this from Amazon but keen to know if anyone has had any success finding something suitable for the G Line. Anything that compacts down as well as a Dimpa would be ideal.
