Hi
I removed the wheel to find a leak, but the rear cassette slides right off along with half of the Shimano Microspline freehub.
Should this come apart this easily, and is there anything special I need to do when putting it back on again? It seems to slide back on again fairly easily.

Some free Hubs are held in place by the axle and can simply be pulled off when the wheel is not fixed in the frame.
Yes it’s normal, for a lot of wheels anyway.
It usually is the case to be easy to slide them off. Next is one of many vids with good reference to learn about it.

Some mod should really make a pinned post about this. I think I saw this question about eight million times this week alone😅
