I should add, this is a late 80’s Trek Antelope ~850. I finally gave up on the Shimano hub and found a cool Hugi rear wheel that’s held up great for the last 6 years. I’d like to find a period correct stem that’s shorter, but haven’t came across one yet. Still a blast on the trails, albeit a little slower on the technical descends lol.
