I love that roller coaster bikelane. It is much safer than the road, and there is a safe distance from doors and gates too.
The bumps are probably terrible, but at least safely terrible.

That one from Wellington, with a narrow “bike lane” on the side of a 100km/h roadway, complete with a ~3″ drop to a drainage grate, looks truly awful.

None of you have ever been to my hometown, but Fairhope, Alabama has, without a doubt the worst bike infrastructure I’ve seen. Like the bike lanes and money spent was a complete waste and honestly made cycling in the area more dangerous

I’d still rather have the bike painted on the road than have the lane just disappear when you get near the freeway.
