    That’s pretty typical for a bike with a derailer that doesn’t have a clutch. Does your rear derailer have a clutch?

    Cheaper derailleurs don’t have a mechanism to tension the chain.

    Also, if you are going to jump and drop, take that silly kickstand off. If it unfolds and jams into the ground it could be disastrous to your frame.

  3. you do not have the features of modern 1x drivetrain that is not found in cheaper or older bikes.

    which is a narrow wide chainring and a derailleur clutch that both help in chain retention and chain slap.
