Riding Through History North Coast 500 Part 8 from John O’Groats to Scouries Camp Site!
This is my journey from Gosport north via a Regimental weekend and on to complete the North Coast 500 around Scotland and back down to Gosport.
I have visited Tring Rugby Club for our annual rugby match taking on a rugby club within our Regimental recruiting area, this year it was Tring. The following day was our Regimental Gathering at Duxford to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Royal Anglian Regiments being given the Royal Warrant.
I then moved on to Squires Cafe and bar at Sherburn in Elmet near Leeds camping for the night before visiting the National Railway Museum at York.
Other places I filmed were:
Eden Camp,
Beamish living museum,
The Royal Yacht Britannia,
Biker Cove, South Queensferry,
Falkirk Wheel,
David Stirling Memorial,
Culloden Battlefield,
Dunrobin Castle,
John O’Groats,
Scourie Bay Campsite,
Lochinver pie shop,
Arctic Convoy Exhibition,
Applecross,
World Famous Old Blacksmith Shop, Gretna Green,
I covered 2000 miles in 12 days, I hope you enjoy the journey.
