Best alt bar setup, I have my risers for when i’m on mtb trails and the “hoods” for riding longer distances in the saddle. I wrapped mine in some tape for more comfort.

Hell yeah it’s the truth! Imo objectively most ergonomic setup for flat bars

I am looking at something like this. What are the bars and the bar ends?
Interesting. You feel this setup is more comfortable than transitional bolt on aero bars more in the center?

Those finally solved my dilemma of wanting a hoods position without having the drops (which I find uncomfortable and never used; which is apparently the case with 95% of drop bar users I see on the road).

I found those dirt cheap [adjustable ones](https://www.bike-discount.de/en/rfr-bar-ends-trekking-adjustable) (seem to be the only one of their kind) where you can rotate the grips to your liking. Perfection.
Also much easier to combine all sorts of stuff without having to use brifters.
We got crazy bars at home
