Hi, new to biking but my car is about to explode from a gas leak so I’m desperately trying to find a better way to work. Willing to put in $300-$400 of work into whatever I end up getting. It’s just been to tricky to find something to meet my height requirements. It is a 1988 schwinn world sport road bike and was only ridden a couple of times in 30 years. Is this worth getting, and how much would you anticipate spending on it? TYIA!!

Get a road bike. Once you start putting miles into this thing you’ll really want a better rising position
Was that you cyber truck that muskploded in Vegas?
Go to a bike shop and see what they have used. You can pick up a modern hybrid cheap, and it’ll be lighter and ready to roll. That bike is cool to look at though.
You can get a perfectly good working bike for $400.
