Bought the specialized status 140 frame during the sale a few months ago for $400. Then swapped a bunch of parts over from my hard tail. Picked up the DVO Diamond D1 fork on sale for $220. A few other pieces, all on sale. Total in the bike is right around $1k. Completely chuffed with how it turned out.
