In this episode of our ‘Shorts’ series, I went for a ride in town with Enriko Marinov, founder of one of Bulgaria’s first bike-sharing services.
As shared mobility finds it’s value add across cities in Europe, it is heartening to find local startups setting up shop to offer services like these. For an affordable 1.5BGN/10mins (est. US$0.70) or 18BGN/day (est. US$10), bike sharing is a convenient and healthy mode of transport to get around Sofia.

As I cycle across Europe, I often get short windows of time to meet with founders to learn from their work, and also to help in small ways that I can. The ‘Shorts’ series gives founders a chance to share their startups, and to go on-air about anything and everything we chat about.
