This is destined to fail. They surged during the pandemic because local shops couldn’t keep up with the demand and TPC was a good option. Now that the pandemic is over, local bike shops are more poplar than they were pre-pandemic, and the secondary cycling market has tanked.

In the months prior to TPC going under they had some insane sales on brand new frames — I got brand new carbon Specialized full sus MTB frames, with lifetime warranty, for $600 each. Now any inventory they list will just seem underwhelming in comparison.

I’m not going to lie, they had a huge closeout on components when they closed. I can’t wait for it to happen again and I get to add even more tools and components. Swooped up on like a zillion chains at like -70% off.

People love to crap on them but i have two bikes i love from them. Its hard to find xxs bikes in stores and i love their site for filtering to find what works for me. They were also super nice with good customer service.

Honestly this could be a good time to start back up, mountain bike prices will stabilize eventually
