How did we get in to this situation?
Oh yeah, that’s right, we volunteered stupidly to raise money for our daughters football team by cycling the Coast to Coast.
So after a 3 hour train from Newcastle Central to Whitehaven, with no support car, 15-20kg baggage on our backs and no idea where we were camping, we set off and completely underestimated the challenge ahead of us!
Day One:
Newcastle Central to Whitehaven 3 hr train with 1 change.
