Nobody has any idea what we’re looking at, and also, texting while riding is unsafe and frankly really stupid.

Lol I was chased by a transient who said he was gonna kill me in a situation just like this, had the knife out and everything.

One of the paths I ride to work has an encampment off of it in the woods. Everyone set up there is pretty chill for the most part and luckily don’t set up fires on the path haha. Main thing I deal with dodging is broken glass in bike lanes and gutters

  4. We get this in Sacramento, regularly. Not the fire, but campers in the bike path. Fortunately it’s offset by beautiful sunrises over the river and quieter stretches of bike path, further from the city center.

  5. This stretch of the trail has gotten rough in the past couple of months. Regular homeless folks used to sleep rough out there, never really a problem except for the trash. Now there’s more and more drug zombies wandering around.

  6. While riding in an unprotected bike path on a downhill at 25mph with cars next to me, I had no choice but to bunny hop a dead raccoon. I feel like that should be some badge to unlock.

The same 4 elderly Asian women who walk side by side and take up the entire two lane bike path.

Broken glass. My first week of commuting in my new residence of upstate new york, I got a flat and didn’t have a spare tube or patch kit. (My stuff was in storage- it’s a long story.) I had to do a walk of shame for miles, haha. Now I am extra wary of pedaling over all the glass people smash in the street over the weekends. Also! Bought the usual repair kit. Lesson learned.

Squirrels and trolley tracks are tied for most number of falls. Live squirrels always seem to bolt the wrong way 😔

  10. When I lived in SF, I dodged mastrubators. I moved to Boston and now I dodge frozen dunks ice coffees. ✌️
