The Lagarina Valley is nestled between beautiful mountains carved by ice in the ice age. Today the ice is gone, but the mountains remain and stand as majestic sculptures formed by ice and time. Because of the rich soil and the climate, this valley is very popular with winegrowers. The valley is located east of Italy’s biggest lake, Lago de Garda. The combination of vineyards, the occasional olive grove, small towns, the Adige river, and the beautiful makes mountains, make this a really spectacular ride. It is without steep climbs and can be completed by most cyclists. We filmed the ride during harvest time, so you can enjoy riding on roads with busy winegrowers riding their tractors loaded with grapes.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But when it comes to music, opinions are very mixed. This is why we haven’t added music and why we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride…

  1. great vids – I just did the Sabot – but no way are these shot from an actual bicycle. The speed up that hill was crazy – passing other obviously fit riders who were really hanging out there, plus the POV is much higher than from a real bike….I'm guessing a motorbike or an electric bicycle….I'll still use these but prefer to see/"ride with" other riders

  2. I’ve just discovered this wonderful channel as I try to get back some fitness after a particularly nasty bout of Covid. Having something to “cycle through” and enjoy is just amazing. Thank you.

Is there any chance of a UK ride at all? It’s fab to see all these amazing European ones, but I’d love to see what is out there in good old GB!
