I’m having a bit of trouble with the Gevenalle OM1 shifter – in the higher third of the cassette, when I shift down it’s quite a messy shift – lots of slipping and jumping. It’s resolved by pushing the shifter back a little towards the higher gear (very marginally).
It doesn’t happen when I shift up.
The barrel adjuster helps a bit, but if I go too far it just moves the problem into the next gear.
Anyone have any experience with Gevenalle and has any tips for fine-tuning?
Please don’t just suggest “get Di2”. I have had some terrible experiences with obsolescence with electronic groupsets and I’m done with being the patsy for Shimano and SRAM.
