Hey new here, never had a vintage bike before and i’m considering getting this one for biking around the neighborhood or to the library which is about a 25 minute bike, I specifically want this one because it’s nearby on facebook marketplace, cheap, and looks absolutely beautiful to me, I’m also in love with the basket in the front, the seller has a short description saying “No issues good for old bike”
I do have a couple questions though, I don’t see any brakes so i’m not sure if it’ll be safe to bike anywhere far, i also wanna know if anyone can tell exactly what bike this is, The closest thing i could find is the “Vintage AP 3-SPEED BMA 6 CERTIFIED LADIES BIKE ALL PRO BICYCLE 1970s” however it has no basket in the front, also i wanted to know if there’s anything i should know about these types of bikes, I’m just getting this mainly for the looks and so i can get out more. Any warnings?
