Does any one have any experience the Velotric Rear Rack Pannier Bag ?
I'm going to buy a Trek Dual Sport 2 Gen 5 soon (the ones on sale for $650) and will be using it for a 4-mile, one way, mostly flat commute and running errands within a mile or so. I'll be putting fenders and a rear rack on it. I have a kids trailer for groceries.
I have a backpack for my work stuff and laptop and want a rear pannier bag that's generally water-resistant that I can just drop my backpack in and take out when I get to work. This Velotric pannier seems like a good, affordable fit for the application and just wanted to see if anyone here has used it and can comment on its usefulness and maybe durability? I'd be leaving the pannier on the bike most of the time. I can park my bike inside my office.
Or if you have any other pannier suggestions for this application in this price range, I'd like to hear those too. I've done the google searches and have seen the equivalent-ish Banjo and Rhinowalk bags in this price range and the Arkel and Ortlieb bags at about 2x the cost.
