Cycle touring our way from Dublin to the French Pyrenees – Part 1, the journey begins

We left Australia in February 2020 right before a global pandemic shut the travel industry and international travel down. What was originally planned as a short stay in Ireland before a move over to France turned out very differently from what we had envisaged. Lockdowns for months at a time, uncertainty in terms of what lay ahead, false starts, and unable to return home to Australia. Oh, and we were launching a new website to help people plan their cycling holidays in France. How life had changed.

Finally, there was light at the end of the tunnel. Vaccines all done, travel from Ireland opened up again to Europe, we were on our way. Ferry tickets booked, our belongings packed, bikes loaded the journey has begun.

Join us as we cycle tour our way from Dublin to the French Pyrenees to begin our new life there and bring our dream of running our own cycling-based business to life. This is part 1 in a series of videos documenting our first 3 weeks in France so join us for the ride.

France is an amazing cycling destination and we intend to showcase all our adventures down the track to inspire others to ride here. Our channel will be a mix of informational videos, how-to videos as well our own adventures.
