In 2019, @britishcycling women’s sprint team missed 458 days of training after being hit by a major lower-back pain issue, missing the flight to Tokyo in 2020.

They subsequently roped in @UKSportsInst to combat the issue and resolving it led the trio of Katy Marchant, Sophie Capewell, and Emma Finucane to clinch the Paris 2024 gold by setting a World Record and winning Great Britain’s first Track World Championship gold in the event since 2008.
