Out with the stock front suspension and in with a 1″ threaded chrome fork adapted to a 1-1/8″ headset using reducer shims. Shimano Exage (1993 components) retro brake shifters and rear derailleur. Plastidip coated brake levers in a pearlescent pink color. 24t small chainring (painless hill climbing!) with two larger biopace Cycloid chainrings.
Velo Orange Belleville handlebars and VO stem. 1″ to 1-1/8″ quill stem adapter (lots of adapting going on!). Paracord sleeved over plastic sheathing on the brake lines to match the pink scheme.
