  1. GasGas belongs to KTM-Motocycles/Pierer Group which recently went into bankruptcy, so wouldn’t be betting on that horse.

  2. Just to add some further context, most of my riding is on trails, nothing majorly intense or advanced (yet). Currently have a Canyon Neuron but just fancy the upgrade to a battery powered bike as I just tire out too quickly haha

  3. Mondraker for me, if you look at the investments they’re making in their pro teams and world cup winning riders like Ronan Dunne. You would hope that would translate to design investments and the brand surviving for warranty etc. a lot of local riders now switching to Mondraker e-bikes and they rate them highly.

  4. 100% the Mondraker. While the GasGas is more or less just a Taiwan catalog bike, Mondraker is an experienced bicycle company which operates at the forefront of bicycle development. The Mondraker has the way more advanced suspension Kinematics and geometry.
On the other hand GasGas is part of the KTM-Motocycles/Pierer Group, which is in bankruptcy. They have no experience in developing bicycles. The whole GasGas/Husqvarna e-bike thing was just a try from Stefan Pierer to milk the booming e-bike cow in the last few years, without any innovations. Stefan Pierer by himself distributed millions of dividendes to himself this year while he didn’t pay the employees for November and December this year. Alone from a moral perspective I wouldn’t want to support such behavior and person with my money.
That beside, the Mondraker definitely is the better bike, even if it would have lower end components, it is the more advanced bike and will feel better on the trail.
