I stripped the bolt on the sram x7 derailleur on my new origin8 scout XLT fatbike. Tried sizing up and hammering in bits and a torx. It’s stuck. Screw extractor next? And if that does work what do I do about the derailleur? Can you even get a new bolt for it? I cannot find this derailleur hanger anywhere. None of the hanger look up websites have this model and the ones they do have under origin8 don’t look correct.

Did you strip the derailleur hanger bolt or the derailleur mounting bolt?
If it was the derailleur mounting bolt, try and take all of the pressure off of it, like undo the cable etc.
If it is the derailleur hanger bolt, make sure you are holding the back side. There is a tool that will fit in the little notches. You can improvise as well but, that bolt might spin if you don’t secure the “nut” part of the bolt. This one is like a chainring bolt.
