So I'm building up my "endgame" mountain bike, and I'm doing a themed build and need help with how I should make decals for my bike.
I'm doing an Arizona tea look, with Sakura petals and branches all over the bike I have all the parts, its going to have a gold xx0 cassette chain and lots of gold highlights like bottle cage, spacers, bolts ect, to match the gold on the can, here are my questions:
1, if I buy ride wrap to protect the paint, will it peel if it goes over the decals I'm making, or how can I protect the decals and paint right.
And 2, what type of decal material should I use, and how do I go about getting them printed.
Help is appreciated!

Don’t apply decals….
I see the vision and think this will turn out cool, good luck!
Yeah if you try and put ride wrap over stickers it will not adhere right around them. There will probably be air around each one.
I had a propain bike and the huge propain name on the side of the frame is actually just stickers. I put 3m clear tape over them and I tried to get all the air out from where the tape transitioned from the stickers to the frame but there was a tiny outline of air around the stickers. I rode it for a year and it didn’t peel at all. Id say as long as the protective film covers the decal completely and you get most of the air out, you’ll be fine. If part of the film ends on part of the sticker, it may come off eventually
When you paint your bike be sure to use 2K Clear Coat (including over your vinyl stickers). Afterwards ride wrap will adhere fine to everything.
Gotta add a 99¢ sticker. There are plenty of people on Etsy that will print you custom vinyl stickers as long as you send them a digital file. There are also people there selling the generic bike wrap kits and will also print custom ones.
