22•12•24 THE WATERS CONNECTING GERMANY, LUXEMBOURG & BELGIUM💦♒

In Europe, you will usually find several 3 lands meeting point or tripoints due to its geographical settings. I was thrilled to visit my first tripoint, the Belgium-Germany-
Luxembourg. Travelling southwards Belgium, brings you to the region filled with lush greeneries, valleys, mountains and hills where several streams of water cascade from the highlands to some short waterfalls too. My eyes feasted to every highs and lows we passed by and several pretty villages viewed from afar. The weather was foggy but slowly cleared up at midday and finally sun was shining bright om clear blue skies upon entering the border of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

OVERVIEW
The Our River flows a total of 78 kilometers and is principally known as one of the border rivers which separates Germany from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
As the Our flows southwards, the Our Valley offers the visitor some increasingly dramatic scenery in this borderland. At one point, for several kilometres in the Vianden area, the Our’s course flows entirely within the borders of Luxembourg.

Interestingly, for a number of kilometres also, the Our’s upper course takes it neither through Germany nor Luxembourg but through the Belgian territory. Thus, in the village of Ouren at the tip of the East canton area of Belgium’s Liège province, the Our River emerges from Belgian territory and, at its confluence with a stream known as the Bodesbach, forms the border between Belgium and Germany, until Belgian territory gives way to the Grand Duchy at Luxembourg.
