I assume that Sagan wanted the chezch DSM rider (2nd in NC) to make space. So he could sprint against his Slovackian opponent for the win in the Slovakian nationals.
Going to be awkward at the races with Sagan and that DSM rider 😬 but I think that it was the rider from behind Sagan clipped him 🤔 also time Sagan gave up the title…… he’s retiring anyway 🤷🏼♂️
The slo mo starts a bit late. Sagan may have touched the back wheel of the rider in front to his right which caused the wobble that brought down the guy on his left. Seems he then goes and remonstrates with the guy on his left who he brought down, which is just wrong. Does anyone have slo mo from further back?
ya‘ll are soft 😭 jesus. acting like he started a fight or sum. he was agitated, just crashed at high speed trying to win a championship. if you have never been in this position, why even talk? 💀
Great sport. I hope all these guys are okay. Seriously, they ride very close to one another to take advantage of drafting, and do so on bikes designed for speed, not stability. Frankly, I am surprised this doesn't happen more often. They all have riding skills I can only view with envy. Respect to you guys, and hope you are all okay, peace!
The rider squeezed Sagan too late and on purpose. Id be pissed too. Dirty tactics that resulted in both crashing. In pain or not, deserved a few words from Sagan. Its a pro national sprint.

The slow-mo cut doesn't show what happened just before the crash so it's hard do see who got it wrong
