So today was an ok day to go for an adventure. I got to drive in the Forrest near my home town. A lot of sand and some hardships but it was pretty fun. But rear derauiler wasn't amused and after 14kms (≈9miles) decided to make catastrophic failure. Other half was a glorified scooter.

Sometimes life gives you a balance bike. Well played.
Always carry a multi tool with a chain breaker – worst case scenario, you can pull off the derailleur and shorten the chain for a quick fix single speed to get ya home.
