Looking at a few bikes locally on marketplace. My fiance and I live in Colorado and want another way to have fun on the trails. Trying to do this on a budget but I have no idea what I'm looking at.. just want some cheap fun and still ride some downhill twisties or slow paced single tracks. Trying to keep it at $400 or less.. I have other expensive hobbies.
Here's a few bikes we've come across. My fiance is 120 lbs 5'2 and I'm 180 lbs 6'0.
The bikes in order:
2007 GT Marathon full XC – Medium
2008 Underbrush Iron Horse? – Medium
2016? Diamondback Ateoz – unknown
Pivot Mach 4 27.5, – Small

The pivot for sure
At that price, I would say look for a hardtail. If that pivot is $400 or less, it’s potentially stolen, but it would be a crazy deal for the wife.
The rest of those bikes are trash.
