  1. As much as I really, really like what has been achieved here … where is the bedroom storage? I saw one chest of drawers. Or did I miss something?

  2. I love that the host gifted them the piece of missing handrail crafted by hand, he just wanted the railing finished properly for them and knew they couldn't afford it, what a generous and sweet thing to do ❀

  3. Although this is a stunning transformation of a once very ugly flat conversion I don’t care for the semi open plan master suite bathroom. The sounds and odours from the toilet space are a little too apparent for anyone else who is forced to hear and smell them from the sleeping space!

  4. I've never hoped so hard that homeowners would pull off a project – they seem absolutely lovely, and brave and determined. So happy this all came together so beautifully πŸ™

  5. Maximalism? Ewww pattern everywhere, even the ceiling? I'd go around the twist. But if they like it, ok. Plus, did they do this amazing job while working full time? Who looked after the kids?

  6. I'm strictly Zen and Scandinavian, the decor of this house is my idea of a nightmare 😱 But fair play to this wonderful couple. Good Luck in your new life, in your new home. From Ireland πŸ€

  7. What a fabulous couple, amazing achievement…fabulous host too. Gifting the handrail was a lovely, kind gesture and finished the home off perfectly.

  8. WHAT AN AMAZING LANDMARK!!! I adore the opportunity to see these amazing historic homes inside and out I am age 74 now and take care of my 79-year-old husband with cognitive decline and I will never get to the UK so my one opportunity is You Tube! Thank you!!

  9. Sorry to see them remove a bathroom! 😒 With three floors and two children, it's a no-brainer to keep it. That maximalists' house living room was way too much for me. Glad to see it was much more restrained in their house. Love the blue staircase. I give kudos for perseverance of this couple, especially with two small children!! TFS
