Trying to attach pedals to spindle like a mx bike for my ski bike build, where can i buy an adapter, or some way to make a platform for me to stand on whilst riding?
Think you’ll have to get one made as it’s definitely not something that exists in the bmx world, it has no reason to really! Ideally you could do with someone cutting a 9/16″ thread into an axle.

I’ve seen some people use cranks with no sprocket and a beat up/ over torqued bearings on their snow bike, so it feels more natural

Okay wait does anyone remember in the earn 2000 there was a brand that made these, flow pedals or something?

if you want the cranks to not spin, use a hose clamp to hold the whichever crank arm to the chain stays.

I’d keep the cranks without the chainring and alternate front foot at 3 or 9 o clock depending on which way I’m turning. You could cut some cranks really short, to 20mm down from 170 or whatever, then drill/tap 9/16″ holes for the pedals. Much like adjustable unicycle cranks.
