It just bought this bike because it’s was mostly complete, looked decently built, was pretty cheap and I tought i could make a nice
bike to go with my other single speed, but I really can’t find much information about the brand. It has a tange 900 cr-mo frame, sakae crankset, suntour derailleurs and dia-compe brakes.

Seems like a nice quality frame! I see some superficial rust but you should definitely look for any other spots where it may actually weaken the constitution of the frame itself. I really like it otherwise. I wonder if this is in any way related to the Leader track bike company. The headbadge is super cool and unique

I don’t know the brand. Probably a smaller marque made by one of the larger brands in their factory. Do you have the serial number? Might be able to figure it out from that.
I would love to see this transformed into a single speed with era appropriate 700c wheels, gum wall tires, and a silver crank that looks appropriate for an 80s frame. Obviously, keep all of the original parts to put back to factory some day
Is that neat headbadge the same as the Leader BMXs from ‘70s /80s?
