  2. I would go for black. The polished rims and the copper frame are already bright enough by themselves.

(BTW, I’m kind of curious where you got that frame set.)

  3. Tan in my opinion but it doesn’t really matter. If you ride a lot black will look nice and clean for longer.

  4. I would go black tires.

You’re really making me want to build out a bike.

I would put matte black Chris King everything on that frame. Wheels, headset, bottom bracket, seat clamp. Just murder it out.

  5. Black on that setup. I like tan tires, but they will take away from the look of the polished rims.

  6. Most of the Ramblers including mine get built with black rims and tan sidewall tires. It’s a good combo but whatever you prefer is probably going to be fine. With polished alloy rims black sidewalls will probably provide the same contrast that the black rim/tan sidewall combo does.

The magic of this frame is its geometry, a bike that fits right is worth a lot more than one that’s just right.

  7. I love the Rambler! Hoping to the get all steel frame in 2025 myself. Can’t wait to see your build!

I assume you mean polished to silver on the rims. I think black will make those rims – OK there’s a word coming I absolutely abhor and makes me want to vomit – pop. It’ll make the rims pop.

I have a similar colour frame with mainly black components, I think black rims would give much more pop.

    Is that copper?

IMO, black for this build. More contrast with this color frame. I’m a big fan of TSW but this one I would go with black. Beautiful frame!

  11. I have Tan thunderos on my rambler- I think it looks cool. I have black wheels and components but think the chrome/silver builds I’ve seen look pretty sweet.

  12. You better keep that chimney. You can put on some chopper bars that are higher than your seatpost 🤣

  13. I think tan with the polished rims is a classic look. Especially with the copper colored paint, I think the warm neutral colors will play well together
