    The study, published in BMJ Public Health, found that regular cycle commuters had a 4 per cent lower risk of all-cause mortality compared to those who traveled by car or public transit. Yes, that reads 47.

    Mfs still gonna be like “but cycling is so dangerous tho! I’d rather just drive my Ford F350 to work and pray to God there are no toddlers in my massive blind spots”

    So here’s the problem; we live an extended lifespan now, but OECD data says we don’t live any more years of non-disabled life.

    That’s kind of awful.

    However, to dovetail with the topic of this post, the primary cause of disability in old age is inactivity.

    So bike on!.
