Recently picked up a Trek 820 Mountain Track in really great shape. I tried to keep the build as budget oriented as possible only purchasing the cheapest sale items I could find. A lot of parts came from what I had laying around the garage.
Parts List:
Wald Touring Bars
Knock off bell
No brand ergo lock on grips
Microshift 3×7 Trigger Shifters
Microshift 11-28 cassette
Amazon brand V brake set
2.2” Forte Tsali tires
Brooks C19
Wellgo platforms
Roadrunner handlebar bag
Rockbros saddle bag
This is my first “build” like this and I am very happy with the turnout!
Sidenote, the tires are a few years old and have dried mud on them that I can’t seem to get off with just washing them. Any suggestions on how I can remove the mud stains?

Looks great! Like those chainrings, like a compact triple. Also like seeing a normal sized cassette, instead of one the size of a pizza pan 🙂
Strange about that mud, it could be winter road filth, it’s almost impossible to remove when it gets into something. I have a pair of gaiters that are permanently dirty, doesn’t matter how many times I wash them, they won’t get clean.
I was watching one just like that in Central Texas on marketplace not long ago. Same bike?
