    rust doesnt look great, but hard to tell, you should clean it up and inspect the rust areas closely for deep pitting.

    that “dent” is intentional, it is there for chainring clearance

  2. Nice frame, however, it has been rusting for some years, which is evident from the dark brown rust spots on the top tube and the rear bridge between the seatstays. Salvaging is not worth the effort in my opinion.

  3. Looks bad but I’ve rescued plenty worse from what I can see, a good start would be to scrape down to clean metal in the rustiest areas and see how deep the craters go, then hope it doesn’t sound like a rain stick on the inside

  4. Can’t really tell from the photo. If the rust is superficial then it’s fine. But it also might be totally rusted out under the paint and ready to crack
