Whilst riding my left pedal seems to dip when i applied pressure. Checked to see the crank bolt loosed and can be undone by hand and the crank came off easily too. Went home inspected the taper and cleaned it. The bb spindle also has gray grease on it after inspection and cleaning. I deamed the crank good and reinstalled, no play but still concerned.

it came undone because the bolt holding it in place became loose, you’ll know it easily if the crankarm is done when on a single look it widened. In your case it’s still good. Just make sure the bolt is installed tight.
Looks like it’s still fine if you say there’s no play when you reinstalled it. Just make sure you tighten that bolt well (for legal reasons this is not official advice)
