I’m happy to share with you the work done on this beautiful 90s GT Timberline.
I bought it from a gentleman who had left it abandoned in his garage for many years. At first glance, its condition wasn’t the best, but I decided to give it a try! 🙄
Under a thick layer of dust and grease, the frame didn’t look bad at all!
So, armed with patience, I started cleaning it, and once I polished it a bit… the magic happened!
At that point, I decided it deserved a second chance. I was fully into the restoration process!
I chose to equip it with more modern components to make it more up-to-date, specifically:
* Shimano Deore 3×9 drivetrain;
* Shimano Deore Hollowtech BSA bottom bracket;
* Shimano Deore V-brakes;
* Mavic CrossRide 26″ rims;
* Selle Italia Flite saddle;
* Miche seat post clamp;
* Ritchey handlebar and headset.
