So this post is not about rage or anything. I am just gelding a mirror to you guys. So for everyone who is like: yeah of course I respect women and of course they can do everything they want. Yes of course they just like men!
So on the photo you can see TWO
– requests for almost the same route!
– From people both in their twenties!
– Both from Central Europe!
– Postet only 10months apart!
But despite those similarity the biggest difference is One is Male and the other is Female!! And another very important thing!
The man literally said in his post: I have NO long distance cycling experiences.
While the woman said: I cycled to CHINA and NORD-CAP!
The WOMAN get 80/90% of the comments are: you stupid person, this is a suicide mission.
100% of that MAN‘s comments: you have to add this to your journey and visit that, join us in the group, here is a good tip. Looks sick! Going to be epic…
I am not a hater just disappointed and wants to show people who still haven’t realised. No you do not treat woman and men the SAME! Stop lying to yourself and start change yourself instead convince other people differ with poor excuses…

Not sure that’s the case more a reflection on certain areas of Africa and attitudes to women?
As a woman who solo cycles I can tell you that in reality the world treats women differently.
Our risk is higher. That’s the fact. Bad, but it still exists, ..like cancer.
It is naive to take a ´rights’ approach when a stay alive approach is needed.

Since you asked..you can sew this to whatever. I would have a hard time recommending a solo trip to any women. It is probably something a solo woman riding would be better at giving tips on. I would just be worried sick, but try to be fully supportive to any female loved one choosing that. It is the way. But since I am a White CIS hetero male that likes boobies, you should probably completely discredit me.
