Hi! I live in an apartment building that has a bike room with these wall mounts. I can’t figure out how to use it and was hoping for some direction.
There’s no other bikes in there.
Thanks in advance!
your front tire goes on the little hook (on the top bar) from the right. Your bike should hang from the tire back wheel on touching the wall. The frame should be close to the rest of the rack for a lock.
The scuff marks indicate that other bikes were stored there but are not any more… You might want to check that the place is secure. I had a bike stolen from a place like this and would not want you to have the same experience. Might want to check why people are no longer storing bikes in it.

hook on the right is or your front tire.
hook on the left is for helmet, etc
big loop is to lock your frame to.
pro tip: don’t lift your bike with your arms…
instead, pop the bike up onto its back wheel, and while holding the handlebars with both hands, use your knee under your bike seat to help lift the bike up onto the hook. use your arms for control.
Also be careful not to hang it on the same spoke gap gap as your innertube valve stem or you will damage it.
