In 2014 I finished building the first prototype of my new cargo bike design, Bringley. Not happy with just test riding around London, I decided to take it on a 5,000km journey overland from Romania to Kazakhstan.
This is the first in a four part series documenting adventures and stories from my three months on the road. Starting in Bucharest, Romania, I took the train to the coast to begin cycling south from the same point four friends and I had finished a 2,500km bike tour along the Danube river three years ago.

Hello, I am really enjoying your youtube videos however I have a couple of questions about your trip.
How do you shower?
How do you wash your clothes?
How do you clean your cooking utensils?
Do airlines allow you to bring the bike on a plane?
Have you had any issues on your trip such as thieves?
Really enyode your video hope i can se more of your trip in the future
Glad I'm getting in on these videos early. What an awesome trip.
Really cool
I'm looking forward to see more videos about your trip.
Just wondering but did you learn any new languages for the trip?
Mate, solid adventure! Looks like a fantastic route. I've been waiting 3 months for the next part. I know you've got your business and everything but when will part 2 be coming along??
You deserve more views: great content and great quality of video. A little more introspection or a more detailed video would have been nice but who am I to judge 🙂 did you create your own bicycle company ? Great initiatives: both the trip and the bicycle(s). Congrats on you following your ideas !
