A travel journey from Ivrea up to the Alto Canavese, the higher part of the beautiful Canavese region.
Located only 35 Km north of Turin, the in Piemonte region of Italy, the Canavese region is a beautiful area at the foot of the mountains, with several lakes, many castles, vineyards and local delicatessen food to die for. Mountain peaks of over 2k metres of altitude, with the highest point at the Col du Nivolet, part of the Gran Paradiso National Park also shared with the neighbour Aosta Valley region of Italy, and the Parc National de la Vanoise, on the French side.
