I replaced the chain (it was sat at 0.6 on the wear indicator) on my SRAM 12sp Force eTap AXS groupset with a GX 12sp as I thought all flat tops chains were compatible and went for a ride today but thing was slipping like a muthaf*cka (cassette was jumping between gears and I was getting quite bad chain-suck on my small chainring).
Is it new cassette and chainring time or have I just bought the wrong chain?

Yeah, road flat and t-type flat are different. I think the oversized rollers are the distinguishing bit, but I’m not 100% of the cause. I am sure that SRAM lists them as incompatible though

Long answer short, shouldn’t be an issue. But T Type chains are not officially support by SRAM
The GX cassette does not like that chain. Run a force Cassette but not a GX, NX, Eagle with that chain
