I recently upgraded my lights to super nova Pure e3 and mini e3 taillight powered by Kansai dynamo hub. I was surprised that after 4 miles of ride at ~16mph the light was not very bright at stand still. I was expecting the build in capacitor to maintain most light output for a minute or two. Do you guys have similar experiences?

My SON28+Edelux II definitely dims noticeably once I stop. Since I’m no longer moving, it’s not as important to me to have a bright light. My rear SON taillight looks almost the same (maybe the same, unsure) after I stop. The taillight requires considerably less power though.
0 lumens. I think the manufacturer only included a capacitor in the rear to cut costs. At least it’s probably less likely to result in a collision than a rear light not staying on.
I keep a battery operator light on me anyhow to mitigate this issue.
Pretty much any capacitor light will lose most of its brightness pretty fast and then slowly fade for the next few minutes.
